Solo 1:
=======
Here is the answer to the dilema concerning the two guitar solo sections
on B.D.: The interestingly catchy sound of the solo is created by
BOTH Hexum AND Mahoney playing the same melody line simultaneoulsy, but a
*Minor Third Apart*.

This complies with Guitar Player magazine's January 1998 issue.  
In this issue the magazine had a short piece on 311 which discusses
Hexum's and Mahoney's intent on the B.D. solo.

So that's that.  No 'harmonizers' or other effects are used to get the
effect for the solo...
